At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I helped launch a nightly Spanish news brief with my colleagues at WDBJ7. The idea started when our news team noticed a language barrier prevented important information from reaching a large portion of the community.
Since then I have translated the days top stories, created content aimed at the Hispanic community and produced a news brief every weekend.
